The Alternative Learning System in Schools Division of General Trias started last July 2019 that is spearheaded by Editha Atendido School Division Superintendent. The Alternative Learning System was managed and supervised by 2 EPS-ALS namely Marilyn A. Limpiada and Rosella S. Arellano. It started with 5 community learning implementors: Ana Maria Z. Anquilan, Maricel P. Paderan, Mylene M. Bantad, Nancy B. Laureno, Ludinia Pelaez. They are handling multiple community learning center in different barangay and Schools. General Trias Memorial Elementary School, Diego Mojica Memorial School, Brgy. Buenavista CLC, Brgy. Tapia CLC, Brgy. Navarro CLC, Brgy. SunnyBrooke CLC, Brgy. San Francisco CLC, Brgy. Belvedere, Brgy Javalera are the first Community Learning Centers had been established in the city of General Trias under the supervision of the Division of General Trias City. Accreditation and Equivalency Test also serves to ensure the validity of the teaching and learning process. As time goes on the learners of ALS increase and the Division of General Trias City allotted National Item teachers to address the needs of teachers in the ALS. The ALS Focal Person in the name of Dr. Rizal M. Vidallo leads the team in achieving the goal, mission and vision of the Alternative Learning System to help uplift the status of the OSYs and OSA of General Trias City.
