HISTORY

The journey of DNHS started through the generosity of Hon. Pacita De Leon who was then the Municipal Mayor of Amulung in 2008, decided to donate 10,000 square meters land located at Dadda Amulung Cagayan. It became the first ever high school in: the eastern part of Amulung, the Amulung National High School Dadda Extension

The designated Teacher In-charge, Mr. Abelardo M. Verzon Jr., together with the three teachers, Mrs Baby Joy Cada, Mrs. Crisel Salvador and Mrs. Coreen Danao pioneered the teaching endeavor with the 41 enrolees for the school year 2009-2010 utilizing the Barangay Hall of Brgy. Manalo, Amulung. Cagayan while seeking for assistance for classroom to the National Government through the Department of Education. Four classrooms has been constructed and established and two more were added: through the Office of Hon. Congressman Randolph S. Ting.

Due to the increase in enrolment, a request for the separation of Amulung National High School-Dadda Extension from Amulung National High School Main has been approved in 2013 and was then named "Eastern Amulung National High School".

As a manifestation of the concrete support of the Local Government Unit of Amulung in the field of Education, they enacted an 'ordinance entitled, "An Ordinance Renaming the Eastern Amulung National High School in to DADDA NATIONALB HIGH SCHOOL on July 27, 2015 which was adopted and approved by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan on September 23, 2015.
