Welcome to DNHS website and thank you for your continued support and prayers for the welfare of our humble school.

For this S.Y 2022-2023, DNHS is committed to increase its efforts and become more aggressive in providing our 420 learners the best service in education. Through the shared time and efforts of DNHS staffs, teachers, parents, students, Local Government Unit, Provincial Government and the National Government through the DepEd Region II and the Division Office of Cagayan, our school is being prepared for a safe and motivating learning environment through construction and repair of school facilities and continues ground improvement.
No matter how bleak the future may seem, the DNHS Family will always aspire for the best of our learners through effectively implementing programs and activities set by the Department of Education.
The journey will be difficult, but together, it will be fun and worthwhile!

NEXT SLAC SESSION schedule is on October 7, 2022.
DNHS teachers are students again and will always be. The thrill of being learners was experience by the teachers as they had actively and ecstatically participated in the two-day School-based Learning Action Cell on UPGRADING DISTANCE LEARNING SESSIONS THROUGH THE USE OF ONLINE CLASSROOM TOOLS.
This was the very first virtual LAC session of the school held on November 18 – 19, 2021 via Google Meet.
“Online classroom tools are really helpful to engage more our learners to participate in class discussions.” said Ma’am Divine D. Ramirez.
The use of Online Classroom Tools like Word Wall, Jamboard, Classpoint and Slido were discussed by the resource speakers Ma’am Patty Rica A. Quinto, Mary An S. Villanueva, Maybelle S. Verzon and Dona O. Bernales respectively.
Words such as “Amazing!”, “Fun”, and “Absolutely informative” were just some of the teachers’ comments as they had been the students themselves when Ma’am Mia Rose Jamaica Bumagat, Sir Jonathan Abad, Sir Mark Anthony Simangan, Ma’am Jemelyn C. Gorospe, Ma’am Liegh Anne L. Cardenas, Sir Kayvin V. Orpilla and Ma’am Digna A. Cardenas had demonstrated the use of the said tools.
“Focus on the positive side of ICT such as these Online Classroom Tools for the sake of our learners,” Sir Gregorie R. Pascua told to the teachers because there had been instances of internet connection problems.
PSDS Alice M. Sugay had also joined the group and expressed her happiness on the conduct of the LAC session as a way for teachers to professionally grow and develop.
