DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION - PANDI RESIDENCES ES
Mapulang Lupa in Pandi, Bulacan was identified as one of the resettlement areas for the informal settlers from other provinces. The area was named Pandi Residences 1. Thousands of families from Quezon City, Novaliches, and Manila were relocated to the said resettlement.
As promised, the resettlement for these displaced families would not only mean a new house location but also a package of livelihood, accessibility to education, and all other basic services.
A three-storey building with fifteen classrooms was constructed in Phase 1 and an additional four-storey building with twenty classrooms was later established in Phase 5 to make education more accessible for the pupils and help them easily mainstream with the community. The school was named after the resettlement area as PANDI RESIDENCES ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
It has limited school ground, with a total lot area of 2,077 square meters for main building and 513 square meters for the annex building. The site is almost three kilometers away from Población – the center of the town in Pandi, Bulacan. Public Utility Vehicles and tricycles are the main means of transportation in reaching the area.
The school was temporarily opened from Kindergarten to Grade 6 classes with a population of 1,275 last June 1, 2015. Later on, the Pandi Residences Elementary School was granted to officially operate the course and curriculum of complete beginning SY. 2015-2016 on June 17, 2016 with a Government Permit #03 s.2014 pursuant to the provisions of DepEd Order # 1, s. 2013 and Republic Act 9155.
The acronym PRES as the initials of the school name is also referring to the goal of the institution, and that is to show how Passionate we are in Reaching Everyone’s Success. As living with the departments’ vision and mission - the teachers, school head, and other personnel aim to provide the quality education for its main stakeholders that they can use as their main tool in reaching their goals and success in life.
This photo was taken last 2016. The school started the academic year 2016-2017 with no proper security fence and gate. Even presentable school stage is also a problem way back then.
Since the MOOE funds were provided, the projects for improvement and development of the school campus has begun. One of the major improvements that the school has achieved was to built a stable security fence, gate, and school stage.
