History

ALBERTO C. ANTONIO PRIMARY SCHOOL is located at Barangay Takiki, Gattaran Cagayan.The School was established on October 24, 2004 and it has a land area of 5,000 square meters.

The land was donated through the initiative of the Late Attorney Juan Antonio and Mrs. Teresita P. Antonio in the exchange for the permanent position of their daughter-in-law, Florentina Ancheta Antonio who was then assigned as the first alone classroom teacher of Alberto Antonio Primary School.

The school started to open with a Grade 1 and 2 class offerings on the School-Year 2004-2005.

Later that year Mrs. Florentina Antonio was assigned to Gattaran West Central School. It was then that Mrs. Evangeline Mamauag from Lapaogan took the place as a Class Adviser from the School Year 2005-2011 of June.

On July 11,2011 It was then that Mrs. Frances T. Pascua was assigned as Permanent and as a School-in Charge and took the place of Mrs. Evangeline Mamauag as the class adviser of Grade 1 and 2. And in the Year 2013 Mrs. Teresita P. Espiritu was also assigned then through the administration of the Public schools District Supervisor Mam Alejo.

It was then the populace increase so in the year 2015. Mrs. Frances T. Pascua secured requirements for the opening of the Grade 3 class after then the opening of the Grade 4 classes in the year 2016. There were LGU kinder assigned then at the Time Mrs. Jomabelle R. Battung and the Grade 2 Adviser as LGU was Maam Mayrose Taylan Canaya.

To this date the populace of the School this S. Y has 54 pupils with 2 permanent teachers and 1 Kindergaten teacher assigned from other School Maam Jomabelle R. Battung.
