The Schools Division Office of Nueva Vizcaya will be celebrating its 12Qth Founding Anniversary on September 28, 2022, with the theme "Sandosenang Dekada: Pagani at Pasasalamat sa Gitna ng Pandemya"
The activity aims to:
commemorate various accomplishments of SDO NV to its commitment to the overall objectives, operations and mandate of the department;
deepen the dedication of the personnel in the delivery of basic education services aligned with the regional and national agenda;
strengthen and sustain partnership with external stakeholders and other partners in championing quality education,
demonstrate the value of resiliency and put premium on education amid unforeseen crises.

Description
A collection of documentary videos highlighting teachers' experiences and success stories amid the pandemic.
General Guidelines and Mechanics
This is open to all public and private elementary and secondary schools in the division of Nueva Vizcaya.
Interested entrants may choose from among the below categories:(Note: District may submit more than one entry)
Elementary IPED
Elementary Multi Grade
Elementary SPED
Junior HS
Senior HS
ALS Elementary Teacher
Each entry should present a 7-minute processed video showing their challenges, predicaments, and opportunities during the pandemic era of the educational system.
Each video should contain original concepts based on their actual teaching experiences during the outburst of the pandemic.
The video should be saved as MP4 file and should be submitted/uploaded to sdonv.teachersdiary@gmail.com on or before September 12, 2022
Top 3 entries per category shall be aired in the SDO Nueva Vizcaya FB Page for viewing and judging for surprise special awards (Time Frame: September 15-17,2022)
The set of adjudicators shall be judging the entries based on the criteria below.
The decision of the judges is fmal and irrevocable.
The top 3 per category shall be declared winners. A plaque will be given to the champion and certificates to the runner ups per category.
The awarding of winners shall be done during the grand awarding ceremony at the SDO Conference Hall on a date to be announced later.

Participants should be a bonafide teacher j employee of the Department of Education, SDO Nueva Vizcaya
All materials, tools, and equipment shall be provided by the participant/ school/ district.
Participants must be in the contest venue 15 minutes before the start of the contest.
Strictly no borrowing of tools, materials and equipment from other participants.
Contestants must wear an appropriate PPE- Personal Protective Equipment
Detailed procedure of the contest package shall be explained by the contest administrator before the activity proper.
Top three winners will be declared.
VIDEOKWENTO NG TATLONG MINUTO
As we celebrate the 120th Founding Anniversary of SDO Nueva Vizcaya, we invite everyone to video capture stories related to the celebration interpreting the theme "Sandosenang Dekada: Pag-ani at Pasasalamat sa Gitna ng Pandemya.
The video competition is open to all teaching and non-teaching personnel of SDO Nueva Vizcaya (individual or in group)
The video file must follow the following specifications: a. Processed video shall be in digital format (MP4, MOV). b. The aspect ratio shall be 16:9
The music/song/score used (if any, must be royalty-free, that is, no intellectual property right claims for use on social media)
Videos may be produced on any equipment available to the entrant, including cell phones, video cameras, drones, computers, or a combination of these equipment. It may be executed with or without sound, or, with or without animation.
The processed video shall not exceed to three minutes inclusive of title screen and credits.

Decision of the judges is final, irrevocable, and unappealable.

RRL CARES RECOGNITION PROGRAM CUM SDO NV EDUCTATORS' CONGRESS
This year, the Congress shall highlight the key players in the implementation and realization of DepEd mandates along curriculum, governance and operations. The presenters/sharers will include the educators duly recognized through the Project RRL - CARES (Reinventing Real Life Connections, Advocacies, Responses and Educational Support), A Recognition Program.
Upon receipt of recognition, awardees are given the platform to share and effect an upskilling to others in order to disseminate their best practices and encourage optimum performance for the utmost benefit of our advance, average, least, lost, and last (A2LL2) learners.
K TO 12 SUMMIT
The K to 12 Summit through an exhibit is one of the activities slated to commemorate the 120th Founding Anniversary of our division purposely to showcase how this curriculum has redefined the educational landscape of SDO-NV and impacted the performance of our learners.
As a way to display and emphasize the good qualities of the K to 12 in our division, the following guidelines are suggested for the exhibit activity.
Each district comprising the elementary and secondary schools shall set up their 1.5 x 1.5 meters exhibit booth at the bleachers of the Nueva Vizcaya General Comprehensive High School (NVGCHS) ready for public viewing on September 21-23, 2022.
The exhibit booths shall be displayed with K to 12 didactic materials and educational equipment for Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment (CIA) from Stage 1 to Stage 4 with the exclusion of TVL which shall have its own booth to be taken charge of by senior high schools offering TVL track and the districts assigned with this.

GRAB MY BALLS 2.0 RAFFLE CHALLENGE
The "Balls of Fortune" Raffle Challenge consists of 600 ping-pong balls, numbered from 1 to 600 where the winning "balls" shall be taken after a thorough and elaborate mixing of the balls. Prizes will be announced through the appropriate social media platform thru AVP and poster.
MECHANICS
To eventually win the Grab My Balls 2.0, you will have to choose any number/s from 1 to 600.
All employees of DepEd Nueva Vizcaya, whether regular, casual, or job order, have the opportunity to buy 1 or more "ball/s";
Each "ball" shall be priced at P250 only, payable in cash upon reservation of the selected/chosen number. "No payment, no reservation policy";
Payments shall be made to the designated Grab my Balls Collection Officer (Saz Gonzales) and she has the exclusive authority to reserve the number/s selected by any DepEd Employee taking into account the name, school/ office and cellular phone number;
Available "ball" numbers shall be posted regularly through the appropriate messenger group chat;
The Raffle event shall only be made "live" on appropriate social media platform immediately after all the "balls" have been reserved and paid for;
Raffle draw date will be on September 28, 2022;
An employee may win several times depending on the number of balls bought;
Non-cash prizes are not convertible to cash;

SEARCH FOR MR. AND MISS DEPED NUEVA VIZCAYA
As the Schools Division of Nueva Vizcaya celebrates it 120th founding Anniversary this September 28, 2022 with an array of fun-filled activities, this will be highlighted by the Search for Mr. and Miss SDO Nueva Vizcaya showcasing the ingenuity, grace, wit and talents of the teaching and non-teaching personnel through a personality pageantry. This will be conducted on September 28, 2022 at 3:00 in the afternoon at the Schools Division Office Conference Hall.
In order to guide each district and the SDO in general as to how the contest shall be managed, these general guidelines are provided for your perusal.
MR. AND MS. BODY FITNESS, THE BIGGEST LOSER 2.0
Mechanics:
The Biggest Loser is a 60-day weight loss challenge.
PHYSICALLY FIT CONTESTANTS will be qualified to join the competition.
Weight loss will be computed as INITIAL WEIGHT- FINAL WEIGHT divided by the INITIAL WEIGHT x 100 (IW-FW /IWx100).
Final Weighing in will be conducted on September 27, 2022 and TOP 10 Biggest Losers will be announced thereafter in no particular order. The result of the final weighing in will be announced during the Awarding on the same date.
One male and a female contender who will obtain the LOWEST SCORE based on the formula given above will be announced as MR. & MS. BODY FITNESS 2022: THE BIGGEST LOSER CHALLENGE 2.0 and will be receiving 10,000 CASH PRIZE each. In case there will be a tie, the organizers will facilitate a tie-breaking challenge and whoever wins the challenge will get the higher rank.
Consolation Prizes shall be given to top 8 weight losers.
Special prizes and freebies will be given to contenders who actively participate with the set of activities.
Other essential rules and regulations will be given during the initial weighing in.
