History of the School
AKLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is a complete elementary school that caters children from Kindergarten to Grade 6. It is located in Barangay Akle, one of the second largest barangays in the south part of San Ildefonso.
The school was first established as a primary school in 1945 with two-classroom building and became a complete elementary school in 1954. The school has a total land area of 4,792 sq. m. The land was formally donated by Maximo Leuterio and in cooperation with the Barangay Chairman Juan Francisco, a public Elementary School in the borders of Barangay Akle was born. It started to serve as a primary school before it became a complete Elementary School in 1945. The educational institution was then spearheaded by its Principal, Mr. Florante Delos Reyes.
At present, Akle Elementary School has 802 primary and intermediate pupils. It has 26 teachers, a utility worker, clerk and a canteen helper.
The institution’s prime advocacy is to produce functional, literate and morally upright learners.
