REGION III - CENTRAL LUZON
SCHOOLS DIVISION OF CITY OF BALIWAG
TARCAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
TARCAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is one of the 11 schools of Baliwag South District that offers a complete elementary education from Kindergarten to Grade 6. It is situated at P. Cruz St. Tarcan, City of Baliwag, Bulacan. The school has a land area of approximately 5000 sq.m. which was donated by a philanthropic individual. It was established in 1937 with only two buildings catering only to the primary grade level. Now it has expanded and is considered one of the big schools in the municipality with 33 teaching and non-teaching personnel and 1077 learners.
The school’s location is very convenient to the school learners since it is near the main highway ( DRT Hi-Way), however, this also poses a hazard to them in terms of road safety. Since 1995, ten cases of minor and major accidents have been reported. Hence, this is one of the major concerns and considerations of the school in imposing rules and regulations and in risk reduction planning.
