HISTORY
Baliwag South Central School is a complete elementary school located at J. Buizon St., Sto. Cristo, Baliwag, Bulacan. It has a total population of 1,114 pupils with 32 teachers including the Pre-Elem. There are at least four sections per grade level housed in twenty-six academic classrooms. There are other buildings like Home Economics, Computer, Guidance, Clinic, Library, Science Laboratory, Mathematics and Administration Building.
A Function Hall formerly called BSP Headquarters, now BSCs Hall stands in the middle of the 15,040 sq.m. land area of the school. A gymnasium at the back area of the school serves as venue for training athletes and other school related activities. Adjacent to it is the three-room Marcos type building that is used as Industrial Arts room and stock room for the equipment and tools of the school.
The administration building houses the offices of the District Supervisor, the School Principal, and the District Liaison Officer. At one corner of the school, sits the grandstand, which is used during school programs and events. It overlooks the wide oval where district and municipal athletic meets are held once a year. At the back portion of the school are the school garden, the nursery, the bahay kubo and the incinerator. The school is fully fenced for safety and security.
Since BSCS is the center of district activities, it is often the venue of school related activities like contests, seminars, conferences and other official and social gatherings.
