Pulong Sampaloc is located within the heart of Doña Remedios Trinidad Trinidad, a town created under PD 1196 on September 13, 1977. It is seven kilometers from the town of Angat. Its total land area is 1,839.37 sq.m.
The resident of Pulong Sampaloc comes from other towns and provinces of the country. Mostly, the source of income of the people is farming. Other sources come from small-scale businesses like stock raising, mini stores, hard wares, mining, driving, and being employed as municipal employees.
Many of the residents are professionals like teachers, midwives, engineers, nurses, accountants, medical technologists, and others. There are two public elementary schools, one public high school, and one private catholic high school.
Presently, this barangay is moving progressively with the leadership of its Municipal Mayor, Hon. Ronaldo T. Flores. He has made a lot of improvements, especially in terms of solid waste management, cemented roads, and the clean and green project of the barangay.
Pulong Sampaloc started in 1948 as a primary school. In 1960, Councilor Eduardo Perez donated the site where the school was built. Pupils continue schooling in the high school at Binagbag High School in Angat. In 1984 it became complete elementary with the late Mrs. Rosario Mangahas as the OIC. For 3 consecutive years, 3 classrooms were constructed by the DepEd which started in 1990, 1991, and 1992 because of an increasing number of enrolments. In 1997, an administration building was constructed and in 1993, the provincial government constructed another classroom recently, in 2014, the District Office was constructed by the local government for the District Supervisor headed by Dr. Guillermo J. Flores.
To date, the school, as headed by the Officer In charge/MT1, has (14) teachers, (1) ALS teacher,(1) Administrative Officer, (2) utility workers, (2) LSB Teachers, (2) canteen helpers and 406 learners.
At present, PULONG SAMPALOC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL provides quality basic education to 406 elementary learners.
