History

Bulagao Elem. School was established in 1965. The school started with grade one class and became a primary school for a certain number of years and finally it became a complete elementary school in the year 1971.Bulagao Elementary School is one among the big schools of Tuao West District. It has 14 academic classrooms and one non-academic room being utilized as the office of the school principal, and one (1) Home Economics building. Despite of the meager school facilities, it operates accordingly through its personnel. As years goes by, the population of the school gradually increased and at present the school is already catering learners from kinder to Grade VI with a total population 428 pupils with 15 regular teachers occupying different teaching positions ranging from Teacher I to Master Teacher 1and 1 school principal. It has a functional Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) which supports most of the improvements undertaken in the school. The barangay officials and other members of the community are also supportive to the projects and programs of the school.
