The Kindergarten Education Law made Kindergarten the compulsory and mandatory entry stage to basic education. All five (5) year old children shall be given equal opportunities for Kindergarten Education to effectively promote their physical, social, emotional and intellectual development, including values formation so they will be ready for school. Kindergarten age is within the critical years where positive experiences must be nurtured to ascertain school readiness.

ELEMENTARY
The Elementary Education includes the first six years of schooling from Grade 1 to Grade 6. The elementary school curriculum includes subjects like Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao, English, Filipino, Mathematics, Science, Araling Panlipunan, Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan and MAPEH (Music, Arts, Physical Education, Health). One notable and important change, however, is that minority languages (mother tongue) are now being used as the language of instruction from Grade 1 to Grade 3.
