MES has started its humble beginnings in 1952. Since then, as a devoted partner, it is strongly committed in realizing the department's vision- to make Filipino learners to contribute meaningfully to building the nation.

Firmly entrenched and solidly anchored on the curriculum, MES productively offers and delivers basic education catering the Kindergarten and Grade 1 to Grade 6.

This year, MES commences and promises alongside the battle cry that as our pupils enter this school, they will obtain knowledge, acquire skills, develop values that certainly aid them to propel and to flourish as individuals when they exit the portals of this learning institution.

As a complete basic elementary school, MES continuously progresses itself to better serve its stakeholders.

Through PROJECT NEB-GAS CARES (Nurturing Excellence by Bridging Competency Gaps and Activating of the Skills through Collaborative Actions in Response to Educational Setbacks), the first batch of Facilitating Adult Learning (FAL) participants is ready to become facilitators of learning and change in the new normal. With their enhanced KSAVs (knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values), they are prepared to conquer the challenges of the virtual space.

MES TEACHERS INITIATE SCHOOL-BASED WEBINAR TRAINING/WORKSHOP

To equipped teachers, keep abreast with the new updates especially facing this pandemic, three teachers of Malummin Elementary School initiated the school-based webinar/training workshop this week, May 17-21.

Marites T. Espiritu, Teacher 3 and GAD Coordinator conducted a three-day school-based webinar/training on Gender and Development on April 18-20. Participants are the teachers of MES in the said webinar.

Furthermore, participants in this activity acquired and refreshed on gender issues which definitely helped them on how to be sensitive on the gender roles and needs of pupils come face to face classes.

On the other hand, Lailanie P. Maglay, Teacher 1 of MES commenced a three-day school-based webinar on cascading the use of curation of open educational resources this week also.

Speakers of the said training able to impart knowledge and expertise on how to make digitized worksheets on word search, crossword puzzle, JMatch and Jclose worksheets.

Participants were able to follow the steps on how to do it. They were also excited and eager to learn the new skill.

Additionally, Fernando T. Pagalilauan, Teacher 3 of MES conducted a three-day school-based webinar on podcasting also this week.

The said training emphasized that podcasting improves listening skill and that targeting each pupil’s interest.

These trainings were very important for both experienced and those who are new in the service. All went well and it was indeed a fruitful week for everybody.

MS. X DONATES AGAIN 52 BOXES OF A4 BOND PAPERS

Malummin Elementary School once again received 52 boxes of A4 bond papers from the unnamed donor and successfully delivered through her friend Ms. Stephanie on May 12.

The unnamed donor really wanted to not disclose her identity. According to Sir Junivin B. Uy, MES teachers are so overwhelmed because of the blessings we received. He also said that these bond papers help a lot for printing the modules.

This will support teachers as well as the school in the reproduction of learning materials for modular modality. This materials will boost the reproduction of SLMs that upholds the delivery of basic education amid COVID-19 pandemic wherein face to face classes are prohibited.

This act of generosity which the unnamed donor displayed is a manifestation of proactive ways that can make a difference.

MES RECEIVES MODULES

May 3-7, 2021

The love and support continuously flow amidst pandemic as evidently shown after receiving again sets of modules for kindergarten pupils up to Grade VI pupils on May 5 this week.

With the support of the Barangay Officials, the said modules were being transported to MES through the barangay patrol car with the helped of Kagawad

Armando Anguluan and his tanod Victor Lucena Jr.

Mrs. Rosalia Anguluan, Mrs. Minda Tagacay and Mrs. Maribeth Ayson were very thankful for the undending support from barangay officials.

Right after, the teachers on duty counted the modules per quarter per week.
