History

Lablabig Elementary School is a part and parcel of the Department of Education committed to develop the young Filipinos with the knowledge, habits, skills and attitudes necessary for active and successful participation in the economic, political, socio-cultural, spiritual and moral life in a just and humane society. It provides a school system where the stakeholders, teachers and the school head dedicate their lives for the education of the children not only because it is their job but because they are competent and accountable, and most of all, they are sincere and committed to the purpose. The school serves as a place where the pupils attain well rounded development through quality education with values and culture of excellence. It is a place where pupils, teachers and parents interact harmoniously and work cooperatively in all undertakings in order to attain the desired goals with God’s help. Therefore, it is the duty of the school to reach out all pupils of school age within the area served, increase the achievement level of school children in all subject areas, strengthen the teaching of the subject areas, maintain and improve school facilities, encourage and facilitate continuous professional development or advancement of the teaching staff and contribute to the development and progress of the community and country as a whole.

Four teachers headed by a Teacher-In-Charge with the help of 39 GPTA members work hand in hand for the benefit of the school clientele. The local Government Unit and other departments of the government cooperatively join in the development of the pupils. There is a symbiotic relationship among private sectors, parents, Barangay officials and other concerned citizens for the development of the school children of Lablabig Elementary School.
