Since education of the people is a primary need for the progress of any community, the conscientious leaders of the town decided to establish one more complete elementary school that could produce graduates whom the community can depend upon for its economic growth and development.
The Bangan Primary School started with multi-grade classes, Grades I, II and III. It was erected on the lot of the late Mr. Hipolito Valenzuela by a teacher Mr. Dioscoro Romero of Pamplona in 1920-1921. Barrio of Bangan was composed of the sitios of Baleg-Taguiporo, Dagueray-Labbeng, Santor, and Cusiten-Gammaru.
Realizing the need for a bigger school site to accommodate more enrollment, the late Mr. Hipolito Valenzuela purchased a lot and donated it as a school site where the present Bangan Elementary School is now built. Eventually, to meet the required area by the Bureau of Education or Bureau of Public Schools, the adjacent lots were purchased. The primary school was transferred to its larger site by the community under a Teacher-In-Charge Mr. Simplicio Dumlao of Sanchez Mira. Enrollment increased into Grades I-IV with additional teachers to make it a complete primary school.
The wonderful revolution, growth of enrollment, and the total physical development of Bangan Elementary School was shared by different school administrators including their strong teaching staff like: Mr. Simplicio Dumlao, Mr. Tomas Fuertes, Mrs. Josefa Eclarin, Mr. Esteban Rugayan, Mr. Anselmo Tangonan, who was assigned Teacher-In-Charge, Mrs. Dolores Cagat, Mr. Nicanor Furtes, , Mr. Pablo Almazan, Mrs. Leonila Ventura were also assigned Head Teachers for the different school years. Each Head Teacher shared in the development of the school by planting coconuts and other agricultural products as model in the community.
The younger breed of school administrators who served the 1950's to 2020 were Mrs. Siosa, Mrs. Adoracion Cumigad, Mr. Rogelio Feliciano, Mrs. Aurie Rugayan, Mrs. Adela Biado, Mr. Froilan Pacris, Mrs. Zenaida Raguindin, Mrs. Mindaflor I. Labbao and Remedios A. Ines, PhD.
At present, the school is headed by Adelino M. Pacris, PhD, Principal II. With him are the best teachers in town, Mrs. Vinia G. Adolfo, Mrs. Jona Q. Galzote, Mrs. Liza C. Paclibon, Mr. Jezzel S.
