Through the years, from the time the Balingit Elementary School was established in 1938, it has been offering committed and dedicated service to the Filipino learners, catering to the needs not only of the community where it is located, but likewise to the adjascent barangays and transcients. It has proven its resilience in dealing with the vast adversities.
As cited by Alvin Toffler in his book, “Future Shock,” the only permanent thing in this world is change. Truly it is. However, the school, through its selfless internal and external stakeholders, it has developed a coping mechanism to triumphantly deal with the changes that come its way.
The COVID-19 Pandemic is the worst catastrophe the school has faced. It caused the school to experience the most difficult and the most absurd test in the delivery of basic education which brought massive challenges to the stakeholders. This showcased the Bayanihan spirit not only of the people in the community but also the involvement of the Alumni here and abroad for education to continue amid the pandemic and for the implementation of the School’s Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP). Similar to other schools, the usual mode on the delivery of instruction was changed to other modalities to prevent or contain the spread of the dreadful disease. Nevertheless, it has hurdled one school year of Modular Distant Learning Scheme.
The creation of school’s website is a commendable endeavor particularly for the purpose of transparency. This serves as an avenue to report the status of the school for others to know, it’s plans, activities and accomplishments. Moreover, it serves as powerhouse of the school’s data and information as bases to track the performance indicators.
To the brainchild of this milestone, Kudos!
