HISTORY

The school was founded during the year 1935 and it was at first,a primary school with only 2 rooms from Grade 1 to Grade 4. The pupils who enrolled Grade 5 and Grade 6 was sent to Calapangan ES, the neighboring barangay of Aggunetan that had complete elementary at that time.

After World War II,the people from different places flocked to Aggunetan until they finally made it as complete elementary school .

Aggunetan Elementary School is lying down near side of the Cagayan River and it is one of the induced hazards .From the past years it experienced flashfloods caused by heavy rains and overflow of the Cagayan River.At present it gained security because of the constructed river control on the riverbanks.
