History

Dalaya Elementary School is located in barangay Dalaya, Lal-lo, Cagayan. It is found at the southeastern part of the municipality which is adjacent to barangay Paranum and barangay Binag. It was established in 1982 when people coming from other barangays of the municipalit; from other municipalities of the province and from other provinces like Isabela and Pangasinan settled in the place to live. The school has a total land area of 10,000 square meters with a Deed of Donation in the custody of the school as a proof of ownership. With regards to its location in relevance to some key reference points, Dalaya Elementary School is 2.2 kilometers away from the national high way and 2.5 kilometers to the nearest public elementary school respectively. Other reference schools within the municipality like Lal-lo National High School, the nearest secondary school is 2.5 kilometers away. Dalaya Elementary School can be reached through tricycles, van, jeepney and motorcycle with a stretch of 2.2 kilometers from National Highway at barangay Catayauan, Lal-lo, Cagayan. the road going to the school is a provincial road linking barangay Binag and Cambong.
