The continuing education of our students depends on one of our stakeholders now: THE PARENTS: It is a given fact that all teachers want the students to continue schooling in every way possible, but how about our number one stakeholder(our parents)? How willing are they to put any effort into making the continues learning of their children possible? How much do they want to get involved? The classroom's built environment is specifically designed to facilitate learning. There are the presence and instruction of a licensed professional to teach. But now, students and their guardians must work together with the teachers and the educational system to recreate the learning experience in their home environments, each home with its own unique challenges.Like others in the educational sector, typical mode of face-to-face delivery for their teaching fellows is not acceptable given the current health situation. But as purpose- driven initiative, they were able to adapt. There are many ways to achieve a stronger partnership between teachers and parents.Open Communication- at this point , clear and honest communication between teaches and parents must be established. Both the teacher and parent can help each other in tracking the academic progress of the students.Parental Involvement- the parents must be informed that this time when it is impossible for teachers to personally check the students from time to time, parents have to double their parenting effort by setting their children on track and from time to time checking and confirming their progress with their teachers. Giving instruction is not just the sole responsibility of the teacher but of the parents as well. The parents are an effective substitute for the teachers this time.Clear Objective- both teachers and parents must set a target. They should set expectations on what's going to happen within the the period of distance education.Willingness to cooperate-to give in touch almost 100% of the families and to make sure that they have everything they need for their children to learn and give families whatever supports they need, or this is not an easy task.
