MESSAGE OF THE SCHOOL HEAD

Payagan West Elementary School (PWES) has been completed as an elementary school in 1998. Before this time, when it was still a primary school, learners after completing the fourth grade would go to the nearby schools to finish their elementary education.

We now have PWES to cater to the basic education needs of the community people of this barangay. They don't need to spend more money to be able to send their children to other schools where they will finish or complete the first ladder of education - the elementary level.

PWES works closely with the community to be able to come up with better results for the benefit and welfare of the learners. The faculty and staff, the Local Government Unit (LGU), the Barangay Council members, School Governing Council (SGC), Parents Teachers Association (PTA), Supreme Pupil Government (SPG), Teacher Organization (TO), School Disaster Risk Reduction Management Committee (SDRRMC), and other Organizations of the School work together to establish an atmosphere where everyone feels a sense of belonging, cooperation, and unity.

The School is committed to discover the innate abilities, skills, and talents of the learners and hone them into better citizens of the society thus helping them develop the spirit of oneness and cooperation that will lead them to be strong community builders in the future.

I am extending my sincerest gratitude to all those who are very supportive to the programs, projects, and activities of the School despite all the challenges that we are facing in the world today.

Makalinglingay a Payagan West!

Naraniag a Ballesteros!
