Ammubuan Elementary School

Ammubuan Elementary School is located at the northeastern part of Ballesteros. The school site has an approximate lot area of 16,355 square meters and describe as follows: Lot No. 4091, Survey No. PLS 706 conducted on October 16, 1961 by Survey Party 1B. This land area was made possible through Deed of Absolute Sales executed on September 13, 1948 between: 1. Mr. Benigno Juan and the Youth League Organization of Ammubuan represented by the President Mr. Claro A. Tajon, in consideration of the sum of P85.00 with Property TD#4907-A, 2. Mr. Mariano Umbalin and the Parent-Teachers Association represented by the President-Mr. Pedro Onza, in consideration of the sum of P50.00 with Property TD#7058-A, 3. Mrs. Baltazara Luna and the Parent-Teachers Association represented by the President-Mr. Pedro Onza, in consideration of the sum of P55.00 with Property TD#7066-A, 4. Mr. Petroneto Tabalanza and the Parent-Teachers Association represented by the President-

Mr. Pedro Onza, in consideration of the sum of P55.00 with Property TD#5382-A, 5. Mr. Manuel Umbalin and the Parent-Teachers Association represented by the President-Mr. Pedro Onza, in consideration of the sum of P75.00 with Property TD#15903 and 6. Mrs. Candida Villanueva and the Parent-Teachers Association represented by the President-Mr. Pedro Onza, in consideration of the sum of P70.00 with Property TD#698-A.

The school was established on September 26, 1915 with just one building to house the Grade I and II pupils.

Years went by, the school populace greatly increase so that it became a complete elementary school.

As of now, it has six (6) academic buildings, one H.E building, a clinic, a school canteen, a mini– gymnasium, a stock room, three communal CRs, covered walk, and gazebos (reading centers/waiting area).

Today, AES has ten (10) strong committed and effective teachers under the management of an Elementary School Principal II, Mr. Paulino M.Lazo.
