HISTORY OF NAVAGAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Navagan Elementary School was established in 1946. It is situated at the heart of the Barangay Hall. This magical root of the school came when the parents and barangay officials inclined toward having an Elementary School in the community.
Learners from adjacent barangays like Sitio Cappi, Sitio Dalaya, Sitio Baggao, Sitio Cataffilan, Sitio Buneg and Sitio Lossong come to the said school for their education because this was the only exclusive school in the area.
There are only two classrooms with few teachers who teaches here but not residents in this barangay.
Many years later, Navagan Elementary School graduated and the number of enrollees gradually increased. There are Three School buildings. Six classrooms used for academic classes and one school office. All rooms are properly lit and ventilated. Sanitary water sealed toilets and faucets are built in every room for learners and teachers. It is a complete elementary school that caters Kindergarten with Multigrade Classes of Grade One and Grade 2 and Grade 3 to Grade Six Classes. The school is currently being managed by a Teacher III In Charge with Five efficient and competent teachers capable of giving quality education to the learners.
The school proved to be a blessing to the Navagueños for it became an avenue for partnership among parents, teachers and other stakeholders whose one goal is to develop better Aparrianos.
