Amidst the challenges brought to us by pandemic, learning must never end. The Navagan Elementary School is doing its best to continuously provide ways to achieve and give quality education to you, our dear learners.
Your love and support is our inspiration to excel and perform more for our children. Yes! Teaching in the new normal is challenging but if we work together, we can do it. We can surely do it.

Best in Teaching Modalities

Covid 19 arises and so face to face classes were suspended. Navagan Elementary School teaching staff follow the IATF protocols and abide the restrictions. Hence, continuity learning never stops. The learning modality that the school adopt is the modular print base and the particular context of the learner’s base in the locality. Modular distance learning involves individualized that allows the learners to use self-learning modules (SLMs) in print or digital format/electronic copy which is applicable in the context of the learner and other learning resources like learner’s materials, textbooks, activity sheets, study guides and other study materials. The teacher takes the responsibility of the monitoring the progress of the learners. The learners may ask assistance from the teacher via phone, text message or in Facebook messenger. Where possible, the teacher shall do home visits to learners needing remediation or assistance.
In this connection teachers of Navagan Elementary School participated in the search for the best in teaching modalities in the district level to try new teaching and learning method in the new normal. Dannalyn C. Macatuggal Kindergarten adviser joined the podcast and represented the school in the district K-3 Category with her topic “Mga Hayop sa Paligid” and won as the 4th place. Leilanie O. Barton represented the Online Teaching with her topic
“Paghingi ng Tulong” for the grade two class and garnered 4th place in the K-3 district level. Ariel O. Nicolas Grade 4 Adviser discussed the podcast about “Kaantasan ng Pang Uri” and won as the 4th Place in the 4-6 level.
Jay-jay B. Alamo Grade 6 adviser tackled about the “ Paggawa ng Patalastas at Usapan Gamit ang Bahagi ng Pananalita” and scored third place in the Grade 4-6 District Online Teaching Category.
Teaching staff were glad for everyone’s accomplishment and willing to accept challenges to deliver better way of teaching young ones in this times of health crisis.
