History

In 2006, Aparri East District was divided into two districts where Aparri South Educational Zone was born housing less than a hundred of teachers and eight schools where Macanaya Elementary School is one of it.

Macanaya Elementary School is not just an ordinary place of learning. It has proven its name of producing Regional Qualifiers among teachers and pupils. A lot of awards was garnered by the school.

In barangay cradles the school being an advocate of strong school community partnership where every resident is enjoined to look into the welfare of the school and the pupils. The barangay council gives the best it can in terms of supporting the school projects and programs.

Putting all our efforts together, we are not just thinking of ourselves but for the pupils welfare . Dong so, is part of our omission to protect and promote the right of every Filipino child providing a safe learning environment.
