Television-Based Instructions Teaching Modality
Television -Based Instruction is one of DepEds learning modalities along with Radio-Based Instruction online and modular learning in the absence of face -to-face learning due to COVID pandemic.
Television is a great way to open our child's mind to a variety of things and help them learn about topics they may not be exposed to at school.On the otherhand,television can reinforce what children learn in school and provide a suuplementary method to teaching children children about important subjects.
With the advent of digital networks,the world of TV as we know it---is undergoing tremendous changes.
Television plays a major role in society .It has an impact on nearly everyone-informing,entertaining and educating.
As SDO Cagayan celebrates its 120th Founding Anniversary on July 19-24,@021.They made another history in academic curricular milestone. They conducted " Search for Best Teaching Modalities participated by talented and passionate teachers from different schools of Cagayan.These teachers showcased their skills and talents and made it to the finish line.
Gabut elementary School ,Amulung East District supported this program by pushing and sending Mrs. Minerva S. Pagulayan ,a Grade 3 teacher to make a Television-Based Instruction entry.
Through full support and efforts and by the grace of God ,Mrs. Minerva S. Pagulayan made it to the Division Level and adjudged Champion for the "K to 3 " TBI Best Teaching Modality" in the Division of Cagayan.
This well-deserved award received by her during the opening program of the 120th Founding SDO Cagayan Anniversary on July 19,2021 at SDO Cagayan Events Hall. It was indeed a remarkable experience and an added history of the school and to the whole division as well . This reminds and encourages everyone that amidst pandemic we can still make a big difference and be a salt and a light to others.
