Embracing the New Normal thru BAYANIHAN

PES PTA, Barangay Council, Community put up 7 learning and internet hub

It takes a village to educate a child, more so in this time of unprecedented crises brought by the seemed worsening and moving so closed in our respective doors, COVID19.

Time flies so softly as we are about to start another year under the new normal set up. As we open the School Year 2021-2022 this coming September 13, 2021, a new challenge awaits us, the struggle to overcome amid this situation we are in surrounded by invincible foe.

Despite these prevailing problems, education must go on. Pussian Elementary School is still in great passion to deliver learning to our pupils thru appropriate modality in our area of responsibility.

PES curriculum in this pandemic has never been a perfect plan or an impeccable master plan for continuous education but with the strong coordination of all its stakeholders, there is hope to surpass every challenge may come in its journey for this coming school year.

As a way of embracing the new normal while battling with the invisible enemy, PES PTA, Barangay Council and Community Members joined hands in putting up 1 learning and internet hub in every purok of the barangay.

The construction of a learning and internet hub in every purok was spearheaded by the Purok Learning Team which is composed by the Barangay Kagawad, SK Official, BHW and Barangay Police in charge per purok with the Teacher Learning Coordinator assigned in the purok and in coordination, cooperation, help and support of the Purok Organization Officers.

With the strong coordination of the school headed by the School Head, Janette V. Salem, the barangay council headed by the Barangay Captain, Gerardo U. Garma coupled with the spirit of bayanihan living in the hearts of all purok members, the projects were realized. Every PTA member, purok member has taken a share in the success of the implementation of the project.

The & learning/internet hub are now ready to cater learners for S.Y. 2021-2022.

This project will make the PES modular learning last year to a blended one.

Meanwhile, this project augment the Internet Connectivity project of the Local Government Unit of Alcala, led by the Municipal Mayor, Atty. Cristina I. Antonio. This project aims to give internet connection to all puroks in all barangays of Alcala.
