HISTORY OF MARABURAB

In those days the place was abundant with native guavas. Young fruits of guavas which they called "Karamukom" in Ilokano During those days the Spaniards roamed the area to hunt for wild animals, The spaniards ate the ripen guavas, "Karamukom, they repeatedly say. Many Filipino children saw eating and they began shouted " agkurkurab". Until then the word agkurkurab is eventually became Maraburab and and Agkurkurab and as years pass by it became Maraburab .
