At present, Malalatan Elementary School is a recipient of School- Based Feeding Program ( SBFP ). The said program aims to maintain the nutritional status of the learners and this was funded by the Department of Education. Number of malnourished children were 16, increased this school year 2019-2020 compared to SY 2018-2019.

10.5 % of the pupils need nourishment. The school feeding program is on going to cater the needs of these children.
