History

The long conceived school of Agani , Alcala, Cagayan was erected in the year 1947. However, it was made a cogon. As years went by, the cogon made school could not already meet the demand of increasing enrolees. Hence, classes were temporarily held at the house of Mr.ProtacioVarila, Mr. Juan Naceno and Mr. Vicente Gonzales.

Due to the bulging population of pupils, the dreamed complete elementary grade of Agani lementary School was realized in 1967. A benevolent Mr. Nicanor Catral donated a piece of land where permanent school buildings were constructed. Considering the thickening of population and the demand of putting up a high school, I the year 1969, a two- year high school as established. Nevertheless, because of financial constraints and lack of facilities, the vision to have a complete high school gently ceased.

Few years later, Pussian Alcala, Cagayan planned to have a school of its own to cater the educational needs of its school-aged children. So they started putting up Grade I class in 1992. A complete elementary school was established here. This resulted the thinning of population of Agani Elementary School. It was realty affected. Yet, it still offers a complete elementary, only it was multi-grade classes.

With this type of classes, the barangay folks believed that it affects the kind of education it delivers, so they prayed that they may be given teachers to split multi-grade classes, and it was granted after few years.

By now, the school already operates classes from kindergarten to grade VI with 8 nationally funded teacher headed by a School Head Teacher I.
