Malacañang Elementary School Holds First PTA General Assembly for SY 2025–2026
July 10, 2025 | Malacañang Elementary School — The first Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) General Assembly for the school year 2025–2026 was held successfully at Malacañang Elementary School, marking a productive and meaningful start to the academic year.
The event was graced by the presence of Punong Barangay Ryan Pagsolingan, whose support emphasized the strong partnership between the school and the local community. Equally notable was the enthusiastic participation of the parents, who came together in a show of unity and commitment to the education and well-being of their children.
School Head Ma’am Virginia A. Diola welcomed everyone with an inspiring message, highlighting the importance of collaboration between educators and parents in fostering a nurturing and effective learning environment.
The assembly served as a platform to discuss plans, programs, and initiatives for the coming year, setting a positive tone for continued progress and shared responsibility among all stakeholders.

2nd Quarter NSED Drill
June 19, 2025 – Malacañang Elementary School successfully conducted its 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on June 19, 2025, at exactly 9:00 AM. The activity was part of the Department of Education's ongoing efforts to strengthen disaster preparedness among students and school personnel.
Leading the drill were the kindergarten pupils, under the supervision of Mrs. Lorna L. Acosta, Master Teacher I. The young learners actively participated in the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure, demonstrating discipline and awareness during the simulation.
The event emphasized the importance of early disaster education and preparedness in schools, ensuring that even the youngest students are equipped with the knowledge and skills to stay safe during emergencies.
Malacañang Elementary School Opens School Year 2025–2026 with Enthusiasm and Optimism
Malacañang Elementary School officially opened its doors to students for School Year 2025–2026 on Monday, June 16, 2025, welcoming back thousands of eager learners, parents, and teachers with renewed energy and hope for a productive academic year.
The first day of classes saw a festive atmosphere across the campus as faculty and staff organized a short welcome program to greet students—especially those entering Kindergarten and Grade 1 for the first time. Classrooms were brightly decorated, and safety protocols remained in place to ensure a smooth and secure return for everyone.
School Principal, Ma'am Virginia A. Diola led the opening ceremony, emphasizing the importance of education, resilience, and community collaboration. In her welcome address, she said, “This year, we are not just opening classes—we are opening new opportunities for growth, creativity, and success for our students. Our commitment remains firm in delivering quality and inclusive education to every child.”
Parents expressed support and excitement for the new school year, many praising the school's continuous improvements in facilities, digital readiness, and teacher training.
Teachers, meanwhile, conducted orientation activities and refresher sessions to help students transition smoothly into their new grade levels. Guidance counselors and support staff were also available to assist children who might experience first-day jitters or need help adjusting.
The Department of Education had earlier announced that public schools nationwide would start classes on June 16, 2025, aligning with the revised academic calendar. Malacañang Elementary School is among the many public schools implementing blended learning innovations and new curriculum enhancements as part of the K–12 program updates.

June 9, 2025 – Malacañang Elementary School officially launched Brigada Eskwela 2025, graced by City Councilor l, Hon. Orlando “Jun” Banaag Jr. and the ever-supportive Barangay Captain Hon. Ryan U. Pagsolingan. With the active presence of stakeholders, the school community came together in the spirit of bayanihan to ensure a clean, safe, and ready learning environment for all.
Malacañang Elementary School, November 8, 2024 — Malacañang Elementary School hosted its School-Based Gender and Development (GAD) Training on November 8, 2024, with the theme, "Breaking Barriers through Awareness of Gender Sensitivity and Promoting Gender-Fair Language."
The event aimed to foster a more inclusive and respectful school environment by raising awareness on gender sensitivity and the importance of using gender-fair language. The training was led by GAD Coordinator Ms. Roeliza M. Benitez who facilitated insightful discussions and activities throughout the day.
With an emphasis on breaking down gender stereotypes and promoting equality, the training was a valuable opportunity for both teachers and staff to deepen their understanding of gender issues and create a more supportive, inclusive space for all students.
De Guzman Wins 3rd Place at District II-A National Science Month Celebration
November 5, 2024 — Malacañang Elementary School proudly congratulates King Maverick de Guzman, a Grade 4 student, for winning 3rd place in the Science Quizbee during the District II-A National Science Month Celebration (Science Quest and Fair 2024) on November 5, 2024.
De Guzman's impressive performance in the competition highlighted his strong grasp of scientific concepts, earning him a well-deserved spot among the top winners. His success reflects the dedication of his coach, Ms. Kimberly U. dela Cruz, who guided him through his preparation.
"To God be the Glory!" said King, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to represent the school. His achievement is a testament to the hard work and excellence fostered at Malacañang Elementary School.
Malacañang ES Holds Mass Induction 2024
Malacañang Elementary School, November 5, 2024 — Malacañang Elementary School held its Mass Induction Ceremony 2024 on November 5, marking the official installation of newly elected leaders in different organizations. The event was honored by Councilor Orlando Banaag Jr., who served as the inducting officer.
In his address, Councilor Banaag encouraged the student leaders to embrace their roles with integrity and responsibility. "Leadership is a commitment to serve others," he said, urging the students to make a positive impact both in school and in their communities.
The ceremony was attended by school administrators, faculty, and parents, all of whom celebrated the new leaders' dedication to fostering a supportive and thriving school environment. Malacañang Elementary School, October 29, 2024 — The much-anticipated BSP-GSP School-Based Backyard Camporal 2024 successfully kicked off on October 29, bringing together young scouts for a two-day event filled with learning and adventure. Hosted at Malacañang Elementary School, the camporal was a vibrant celebration of scouting skills and ideals, fostering camaraderie and teamwork among the participants.
The event, which ran from October 29 to 30, was organized with the guidance of Principal Virginia A. Diola and under the supervision of BSP Coordinator Daniel G. Vinluan Jr., who ensured the event was a memorable and enriching experience for all attendees.
Intramurals 2024 Brings Excitement and School Spirit to Malacañang Elementary School
Malacañang Elementary School, October 11, 2024 — Malacañang Elementary School celebrated a day of fun and competition with its Intramurals 2024, held on October 11. The event, organized by the school’s Sports Coordinator Daniel G. Vinluan Jr., kicked off with an inspiring opening program led by Principal Virginia A. Diola.
In his message, Barangay Captain Ryan Pagsolingan encouraged students to engage in both sports and academics, emphasizing the importance of developing discipline and teamwork.
The morning’s activities included the Search for Little Mr. and Miss Intramurals 2024 ans Mr. and Miss Intramurals 2024. The student contestants impressed the audience with their charisma and talent, adding a festive atmosphere to the day.
The event also featured exciting ball games and board games in the afternoon, where students showcased their athletic skills and strategic thinking in friendly competitions. The day was a great success, fostering school spirit and providing a platform for students to demonstrate both their talents and teamwork.
Malacañang Elementary School Launches "Masaganang Gulayan Para sa Malusog na Kabataan
Malacañang Elementary School, September 12, 2024 — Malacañang Elementary School proudly launched the Masaganang Gulayan Para sa Malusog na Kabataan project, an initiative by the San Carlos City Division, headed by Dr. Sheila Marie Primicias, the dynamic and supportive Schools Division Superintendent (SDS). The project aims to encourage schools to plant vegetables and fruit-bearing trees, providing nutritious food for learners while promoting a sustainable and health-conscious environment.
The event was graced by Sir Dennis Donald Doria, AO V, who delivered a motivational message to the students and parents, inspiring them to take an active role in the school’s gardening efforts. His encouragement underscored the importance of healthy eating and community involvement.
The launch was also made possible with the steadfast support of Barangay Officials and SPTA Officials, led by Barangay Captain Hon. Ryan U. Pagsolingan and SPTA President, whose leadership played a vital role in the success of the event. Special thanks were extended to the parents, who have been instrumental in preparing the school’s Gulayan sa Paaralan garden from the very beginning.

Malacañang Elementary School, September 10, 2024 — Malacañang Elementary School kicked off its National Teachers' Month celebrations with a heartwarming Salo-salo ng mga Teachers at Learners: Isang Pasasalamat program, held to honor the dedication and hard work of its educators. The event, which took place in September 10, 2024, aimed to commemorate World Teachers' Month by expressing gratitude to teachers for their unwavering commitment to shaping the future of students.
The program was graced by Dr. Glenda Doria, SEPS-SMME, who delivered an inspirational speech, encouraging both students and teachers to continue striving for excellence. "Your efforts today will build the future of our nation," Dr. Doria remarked, emphasizing the vital role that educators play in the development of young minds.
The celebration also recognized the support of Hon. Ryan U. Malacañang Elementary School Joins Buwan ng Wika Celebration
Malacañang Elementary School, August 30, 2024 — Nakiisa ang Mababang Paaralan ng Malacañang sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika noong Agosto 30, 2024, sa pangunguna ng ating butihing Punongguro, Ma'am Virginia Diola. Ang temang "Filipino: Wika ng Pagkakaisa" ay pinagtibay sa pamamagitan ng isang makulay at masayang programa.
Ipinakita ng mga mag-aaral mula Kinder hanggang Ika-anim na Baitang ang kanilang pagmamahal sa kultura at wika ng Pilipinas sa pamamagitan ng pagsusuot ng mga makukulay at tradisyunal na kasuotang Pilipino. Kasama rin sa selebrasyon ang mga mag-aaral na nagpakitang gilas sa pamamagitan ng pagpapakita ng kanilang mga talento sa sayaw, awit, at tula.
Nagpasalamat si Ma'am Virginia Diola sa lahat ng nakiisa sa programa, kabilang ang mga guro, magulang, at mga mag-aaral, na nagsanib-puwersa upang matutunan at ipagdiwang ang kahalagahan ng ating wika at kultura. "Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat, na nagbigay kulay at buhay sa ating Buwan ng Wika. Ang pagtangkilik sa ating sariling wika ay mahalaga sa pagpapalaganap ng ating pambansang identidad," ani Ma'am Diola.
