Time to put your shinguards down and pick up a controller, because the FIFA Tournament is back! Due to popular demand, the Tenzer Technology Center, in partnership with DePauw Intramurals, is bringing back the FIFA tournament from last year on Saturday, April 30th from 12PM-3PM in the Julian Atrium.
There will be a maximum of 16 participants, assigned on a first come first serve basis. We expect a lot of engagement, so please sign up quick if you want a spot! You can register using our Sign Up Google Form. The form will close at 11:59PM on Thursday, April 28th. Once all spots are full, Tenzer will notify all the people who submitted forms as to whether they will be playing or not. If the participant got in, then they will also be notified of the time slot of their first match. There will be prizes for the top four participants!
Participants will be randomly assigned a position in the below diagram. Two participants will go head-to-head against each other in "rapid style" competition; each game will be set for 10 minutes with a 10 minute break in between competitions. All participants will be assigned a time slot to play; failure to show up for your assigned time slot will result in a forfeit. This is a single elimination tournament - the winner will advance; the loser goes home.
On Sunday, May 8th, 2022 from 3:00PM - 5:00PM at Reavis Stadium, DePauw Intramurals will be hosting an in-person soccer game to compliment our FIFA Tournament! More info coming soon.
