The Community Technology Engagement Program (CTEP), is a DePauw-affiliated organization aimed at empowering members of the Putnam County community with new means to learn, communicate, and explore by providing technology related education.
CTEP's mascot is Data the Cat (seen above).
What Do We Do?
What Do We Do?
CTEP primarily provides tech-help office hours to the Putnam County community. These 30 minute appointments can be used to resolve all kinds of technical issues.
In the 2022-23 AY alone, CTEP successfully engaged in 53 unique counseling appointments to help local patrons.
CTEP also provides Depauw student-led workshops on technology. These workshops may include: how to navigate the Google Suite, how to create a LinkedIn profile, basic image editing or graphic design, etc.
CTEP hosts social events utilizing existing Tenzer technology like VR and 360 cameras, allowing community members in Putnam County access to technology that may not be readily accessible.

CTEP functions in multiple locations. The on-campus base will exist within the Tenzer Technology Center, the sponsoring organization at DePauw University. However, workshops and programming will be offered at multiple community locations, including but not limited to: Conspire Contemporary Craft and Community Center, The Putnam County Library, and more.

Weekly Technology Support Service:
If you have any problem with technology, feel free to bring your device to the Putnam County library! A DePauw student volunteer will help you out with any personalized technological problem. This is a volunteer service that is completely free of charge.
