About the Project

Working in collaboration with Tenzer Director Boyles and DePauw Librarian Flegal, 10 Tenzer Technology Specialists have been selected to help equip the new Tenzer Technology Center (to be located in the renovated Roy O. West Library opening in January 2023). This team will be among the first to see the renovated library, where they will assess pre-existing constraints such as room dimensions, furniture layout, security protocols, computer builds, etc. They will also talk with local stakeholders and attend CES 2023 to explore the latest technologies. Of particular interest to the center is XR and 3D printing technology, but the team will have ample opportunity to suggest never before thought of technologies as well. After dividing into groups, each will craft a proposal. All proposals will be thoughtfully considered before final technology purchases are made.
