During COVID building closures, select DPL locations have been providing outdoor computer access.
One-on-one technology appointments are available across the DPL system. These pair community members with staff or trained volunteers for an hour of specialized technology help, for topics as wide-ranging as cellphone use to email to website creation.

DPL has offered Chromebooks for checkout for use inside of branches since 2019, wifi hotspots to checkout for home use since 2016, and added Chromebooks for take-home checkout in 2021.

The ideaLAB program provides free, all ages access to maker tools, materials, and instruction in a drop-in, interest-driven environment. Makerspaces are located in communities across Denver serving populations underrepresented in STEM and maker fields.
