Meet the Teachers

Hi! My name is Ms. E and i'm so excited to be celebrating my 10th year in education! I absolutely love being a teacher and feel so lucky to be part of the DGS community. I love creating a classroom that is welcoming, joyful, and full of laughter, where every student feels known, supported, and excited to learn. I believe in nurturing the whole child and celebrating each student for who they are!

Outside of school, I am always up for an adventure! You can usually find me climbing, camping, hiking, running, or trying just about anything that gets me outside and moving.

I recently moved to Denver from Virginia, and I am so excited to begin my first year with the DGS community! I taught 1st grade in Washington D.C., for 6 years. At American University, I completed my undergrad in international relations and my master’s in elementary education. I’m truly fascinated by children’s development and their amazing minds! I can’t wait to learn alongside your students, celebrate what makes each of them unique, and see all the amazing things their growing minds have to teach me this year!
