Bet on Baltimore...
is a 5-week (July 10th - Aug 11th) paid summer internship that empowers Baltimore's high schoolers to become creative problem-solvers, makers, and entrepreneurs, ultimately shaping the world around them.Â
This summer, we are bringing together 150 youth (Denters) and 25 Coaches from across Baltimore in-person at sites across the City. In a variety of tracks, Denters will explore human-centered design thinking, learn maker skills, collaborate in teams to launch ventures, delight clients, and create community impact.

Our Denters are curious, with a growth-mindset, and entrepreneurial & creative passion. We look for High Schoolers ages 14-19 from across Baltimore City. We are recruiting 100 first-time applicants and aiming to work with 50 Returning Denters this summer!Â

Coaches are essential to our mission as they spend the summer mentoring and building life-long connections with Baltimore's next generation of change-makers! Our Coaches are creatives, makers, entrepreneurs, youth-supporters, and social innovators looking for a work culture of wellness and self-growth!

In BoB, Denters understand challenges and apply the creative problem-solving process of equity-centered design thinking: Listen, Think, Build.

Connect and empathize with clients, partners, and end-users to better understand the challenges theyÂ
are experiencing.

Explore those challenges and ideate solutions for the real-world that tap into their innate creative potential.

Apply 21st century maker skills like 3D printing, graphic design, and laser cutting to bring innovative solutions to life and test with real end-users!
By leveraging entrepreneurial mindsets, Denters serve clients or launch & pitch an innovative venture or social impact project. Our long-term goal is for youth to realize they can shape the world around them and make lasting connections with peers and mentors for years to come!

This summer, we are offering 5 Tracks for Denters to explore their creative potential and make their Dent in Baltimore and beyond! We partnered with leading creatives, innovators, and entrepreneurs throughout Baltimore City to co-design an enriching, immersive, and industry-tested summer experience for Bet on Baltimore.
Returning Denters bring innovation to local organizations and businesses as innovation interns: Denterns!Â
