Young Band Director Recipients

The SWIBA Young Band Director Award was established in 2009 by the SWIBA Board of Directors and General Membership. The purpose of this award is to motivate young band directors to continue to develop their craft and encourage them to excel in the field of music education. Recipients of this award are impacting students in a positive way and developing lasting relationships within their educational community. To be eligible they need a minimum of 3 and maximum of 10 years teaching experience, and must not be a previous winner of the award.
