2024 District Large Group Speech Contest

Our contest is planning to start at the regularly scheduled time.

Schools are ALWAYS welcome to come later, and we will allow you to perform when you get here. WE WANT YOU TO BE SAFE!

If you decide on Saturday you will be arriving late, please email ckoster@denisoncsd.org & lolsen@denisoncsd.org to share your intentions.

If this changes, we will email coaches and POST IT HERE.

Contest will run from 8:00 am until ~4:00 pm.

Per the Iowa High School Speech Association (IHSSA), there is a suggested $3 donation at the door.

A VERY limited number of full schedules will be available for purchase at the door for $2. Encourage patrons to scan the QR codes located around the school for schedule & results.

Team home base will be in the gym. Please NO FOOD or DRINK in the gym at any time!

No photography or video of any type is allowed of performances without prior written permission from the IHSSA Office.

Please keep noise in hallways to a minimum - be considerate of other performers and keep conversations located in public meeting areas (lobby, cafeteria, gym).

Results will be posted via this website. They will also be posted in the hallway from the gym to the cafeteria.
