Meet the Teacher

Hello! My name is Mary Kristen Vasile. After graduating with degrees in Philosophy and English Literature from the College of New Jersey, I joined Teach For America and began teaching kindergarten in Phoenix, Arizona. My career eventually brought me to Austin, Texas. I have been teaching for 12 years and I have been a proud Hornsby Hounddog for the last 8 years. I love teaching kindergarten here at Hornsby.
