DVMS Dance Program & Sweethearts dance team
DVMS Dance Program & Sweethearts dance team
The DVMS dance program is the place everyone wants to be! We provide a fun and safe learning environment. We learn all different styles of dance from Hip hop, Ballet, Jazz, Pre-Drill Team, and more!
The Sweetheart Dance Team is a highly competitive team and more importantly, a family! Sixth and Seventh graders may try out at the end of the year for the following year. We hope to see you become a part of the DVMS dance family!

DVMS Theatre Program
There is never a dull moment in DVMS Theatre! We put on several performances and musicals each year. The DVMS Theatre department does the morning announcements, performs at school pep rallies and have also been a part of DVMS Gives Back, our holiday community service program. In 20/21, we will be competing in our district's One Act UIL competition!
Not comfortable performing? From running the sound and music for a show, to makeup design, working the curtains or helping move props into place behind the scenes, there are plenty of fun jobs in Theatre that do not require you to be on stage. In class we learn comedy, costume design, set building, musicals, duet scenes, monologues, Shakespeare, and lots and lots of Theatre games!

Del Valle Middle School Band
The Del Valle Middle School Band program embodies a tradition of spirit, excellence, and distinction. In the past three years, the DVMS band has earned consecutive years of Superior ratings at the UIL Concert contest, expanded performance opportunities within our school and community, and consistently represented DVMS in the most positive light. Students in the DVMS band program find themselves in a rigorous, supportive environment where they may discover their calling and find their role in our school’s mission for success. We look forward to our community’s continued support.

In the choir program, we often do work with the other secondary schools for a performance or co teaching. We are starting a new program this year of "show choir" that we're very excited about. This is a very involved participation class so we look forward to working together in creating music.
