A five day unique interdisciplinary virtual and Face to Face experience for GEAR-UP students to acquaint the participants with the study of and potential careers in the construction management industry.
(20) - participants will be competitively selected. The Dallas/ Fort Worth Construction Academy includes both Zoom / Face to Face instruction with an overnight stay.
Participants will have the opportunity to visit AT&T Stadium, a working construction site, and a construction office to interact with industry professionals.

Day 1: Meet and Greet all campers (Zoom)
Day 2: Introduction to Construction Science, Class day 1 begins (Zoom)
Day 3: Class day 2 (Zoom)
Day 4: Travel to Dallas, Camp activities (In-person Overnight camp)
Students will stay at hotel. Camp will follow CDC guidelines on Covid-19 regulations
Day 5: Camp activities and return to Austin.
