Shane McNichol was born and raised in Blackwood, NJ. A proud product of the Gloucester Township and Black Horse Pike school systems and he credits the love and support from his teachers that led to his success in life. Shane earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Rutgers-Camden and two Master’s Degrees from Wilmington University in School Counseling and School Leadership.

Shane joined the Delsea Middle School family in the fall of 2013 as a school counselor. Since being hired at Delsea, Shane has raised a family of his own by marrying his beautiful wife Angela and they have two adorable children, Macie and Brendan. Shane supports the needs of Delsea students both in and out of the classroom. As an advocate for every child, Shane serves in a leadership role on many school committees such as; I&RS, School Climate, HIB, DMS People’s Choice, Reopening School Task Force, Equity Council, and others. Shane prides himself on making others happy and will do whatever it takes to help a student succeed!
