We hope everyone had a blessed Christmas and a safe and wonderful New Year.
The hall was, in the words of Professor Hinkle, "busy, busy, busy!" throughout the Christmas season. This year's Member's Christmas Party was well attended and the dinner was very nice. Thank you to all those that had a hand in the planning, preparation and pageantry.
The breakfast with Santa was also a success and thank you again to those who helped out. Sure seems like a lot of the same faces getting thanked for volunteering at all the events at the hall. PLEASE consider volunteering to help out with some of the upcoming events.
Monday, January 9, 2023 at 8pm is our Monthly Business meeting. Please come out and let your voice be heard. Any organization is stronger when all the members get involved.

Since 1972, Knights of Columbus councils have sponsored the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship for boys and girls from the ages of 9 to 14 to provide an athletic outlet and encourage the values of sportsmanship and healthy competition. Kids compete within their own gender and age and progress from local level to district, regional and the state competition.
The Delphos KofC will hold the competition on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, January 16, 2023 at 2pm in the Delphos St. John's All Saints building. Registration begins at 1:30 pm at the gym for all boys and girls from the ages of 9 to 14 as of January 1, 2023. Written parental consent is required. Boys and girls from their respective age divisions will compete to win the local competition, where winners will advance to the district competition. Contact Tom Jettinghoff at 419-235-2302 for more information.
The district level competition will be held at St. John's this year. The date will be February 5, 2023 and will also start at 2pm. (More details to follow)

Our very own Brother Knight, Jim Fortener was named "Man of the Year" for 2022. The Delphos Knights of Columbus would like to congratulate Jim for this well deserved honor and thank him again for all his countless hours of work that he and his wife Sharon put in for, not only the KofC, but the many other organizations and causes that they contribute too.
The next time you see Jim at the hall be sure to buy him a drink!
We would like to wish each of you a blessed, healthy and very happy birthday.
If you have a birthday in January and are not listed here, then most likely we do not have your current info in our records. Please feel free to send me your updated contact info and birthday info. Be assured that your info will never be shared outside of your Knights of Columbus organization.
