A couple very big events are coming up quickly, the Daytona 500 party and of course, the Lenten Fish Frys begin in a couple weeks. Please consider helping out with some of these events. Shoot off an email to info@DelphosKofC.org and let us know what days you can be of service.
Monday, February 13, 2023 at 8pm is our Monthly Business meeting. Please come out and let your voice be heard. Any organization is stronger when all the members get involved.
This is a reminder that following the meeting on Monday, February 13th, 2023, we will have a little setup for portrait photos to be taken for all current officers and past Grand Knights. This will be done at the hall so please try to attend the meeting. If you already have a portrait photo that you would like to use you can email it to info@DelphosKofC.org. If you need a portrait print scanned we can do that as well, just bring it in and we will scan it and get it back to you ASAP. Photos will be used on our website and soon to be announced "Wall of Honor" area at the hall.
If you are a payed up Knight and not a current officer or former Grand Knight and would like a portrait photo taken, we will be happy to take a photo for free and provide you with a digital file that you can have prints made from. We can have a photo prints made for you for a very reasonable price of $20 for an 8x10 inch size (additional prints $12 each). A 5x7 inch for $15 (additional prints for $10 each). If you would like a different size, just let us know.
Wednesday April 26 from 9am - 8pm
Delphos St. John's Church
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ (USCCB) has been presented with a relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis by Archbishop Domenico Sorrentino of the Diocese of Assisi-Nocera Umbra-Gualdo Tadino in Italy.
Blessed Carlo Acutis was an Italian teenager who used technology to spread devotion to the Eucharist before his death at age fifteen from leukemia in 2006. He offered his sufferings for the Church and for the Holy Father, and Pope Francis has called him a role model for young people. He was beatified in 2020 and is one of the intercessors for the national Eucharistic Revival, a multi-year initiative by the bishops of the United States to reinvigorate devotion in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.
The relics of Blessed Carlo Acutis and St. Manuel Garcia Gonzales will be at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 26th, from 9 AM till 8 PM. They will be received into the Diocese for the purpose of promoting Eucharistic devotion. The committee for promoting Eucharistic Revival is looking for all people who could possibly be in the church to provide security for the relics. This will entail enforcing restrictions on the handling of the relics only.
Please keep an eye out for information on how you, as a member of the Delphos KofC, can help with this important event. We are in need of men to volunteer to protect this relic while it is on display at St. John's Church.
Ash Wednesday is February 22, 2022 which marks the beginning of Lent, and that also means Fish Fry Fridays. As a Brother Knight please consider donating your time to help out with this VERY IMPORTANT event and fundraiser. More information will be forthcoming on our Fish Fry webpage.

As Knights of Columbus, we must deepen our own spirituality and formation to combat the crisis of faith in the Church today. Graciously, we have an opportunity to rejoice over hate, discover the courage we need to resist untruths, and the confidence to see the true glory that awaits us. Brothers, we can do this together at the 26th Annual Catholic Men’s Conference!
The Catholic Men's Conference returns to Kasich Hall at the Ohio Expo Center on February 25th, 2023. This Conference will include Adoration, Reconciliation, Holy Mass, very impactful speakers including our very own Most Reverend Earl K. Fernandes, Bishop of Columbus. The Conference will also include breakfast, lunch, and opportunities to visit with faith-based organizations. Many groups will be set up with tables and activities along with the Knights of Columbus recruitment team.
Linked below is a flyer detailing this year's Conference, including live links to allow for easy registration. But wait, there is more! If you noticed, the Women’s Conference is the weekend before. Why not give the women in your life a wonderful experience by inviting them to a day of Sacraments, inspirations, devotions, friendships, and joyful praise through music.
Men, please share this wonderful opportunity with your councils, parishes, families and more. Join us Brothers and invite all who are “Called to be Saints” and grow closer to our Lord!
Vivat Jesus!

Please keep fellow Knight James Metcalfe in your prayers. Jim is recovering from surgery and has a rather difficult rehabilitation ahead of him.
We would like to wish each of you a blessed, healthy and very happy birthday.
If you have a birthday this month and are not listed here, then most likely we do not have your current info in our records. Please feel free to send me your updated contact info and birthday info. Be assured that your info will never be shared outside of your Knights of Columbus organization.
