The Lenten fish frys are in full swing and any help you can provide would be appreciated. Also we have a few fundraisers that we hope you will take part in. First off we have our annual Super Cash Bonanza, we also have a 7 Gun Raffle and finally we are doing 50/50 drawing all through Lent. All tickets can be purchased at the hall on Thursdays or during the fish frys. Please see information about each in this newsletter below.
Monday, March 13, 2023 at 8pm is our Monthly Business meeting. Please come out and let your voice be heard. Any organization is stronger when all the members get involved.
Super Cash Bonanza is the Ohio State Council’s annual Charity Campaign. The income from the Charity Campaign provides a significant amount of funding for our many charitable donations that are given to our church, school systems and community projects. The campaign is funded through our ticket sales – so member knights are encouraged to help support our council and sell or purchase their tickets.
There are over $108,000 worth of prizes to be awarded. The proceeds are used to help support:
State Squires Program
Diocesan Vocation Programs
Diocesan Seminarians
Our Veterans
Diocesan Religious Education
Catholic High School Education
Diocesan And State Charities
Our Priests And Bishops
Further questions about the Super Cash Bonanza Campaign can be directed to the State Treasurer and Super Cash Chairman Mike Felerski via phone or text at 513-869-0180 or email mfelerski@icloud.com.

Delphos St. John's Church
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ (USCCB) has been presented with a relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis by Archbishop Domenico Sorrentino of the Diocese of Assisi-Nocera Umbra-Gualdo Tadino in Italy.
Blessed Carlo Acutis was an Italian teenager who used technology to spread devotion to the Eucharist before his death at age fifteen from leukemia in 2006. He offered his sufferings for the Church and for the Holy Father, and Pope Francis has called him a role model for young people. He was beatified in 2020 and is one of the intercessors for the national Eucharistic Revival, a multi-year initiative by the bishops of the United States to reinvigorate devotion in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.
The relics of Blessed Carlo Acutis and St. Manuel Garcia Gonzales will be at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 26th, from 9 AM till 8 PM. They will be received into the Diocese for the purpose of promoting Eucharistic devotion. The committee for promoting Eucharistic Revival is looking for all people who could possibly be in the church to provide security for the relics. This will entail enforcing restrictions on the handling of the relics only.
As Knights of Columbus, we must deepen our own spirituality and formation to combat the crisis of faith in the Church today. Graciously, we have an opportunity to rejoice over hate, discover the courage we need to resist untruths, and the confidence to see the true glory that awaits us. Brothers, we can do this together at the 26th Annual Catholic Men’s Conference!
The Catholic Men's Conference returns to Kasich Hall at the Ohio Expo Center on February 25th, 2023. This Conference will include Adoration, Reconciliation, Holy Mass, very impactful speakers including our very own Most Reverend Earl K. Fernandes, Bishop of Columbus. The Conference will also include breakfast, lunch, and opportunities to visit with faith-based organizations. Many groups will be set up with tables and activities along with the Knights of Columbus recruitment team.
Linked below is a flyer detailing this year's Conference, including live links to allow for easy registration. But wait, there is more! If you noticed, the Women’s Conference is the weekend before. Why not give the women in your life a wonderful experience by inviting them to a day of Sacraments, inspirations, devotions, friendships, and joyful praise through music.
Men, please share this wonderful opportunity with your councils, parishes, families and more. Join us Brothers and invite all who are “Called to be Saints” and grow closer to our Lord!
Vivat Jesus!

The Delphos Knights of Columbus are very excited to announce this year's Lenten Fish Frys. Why are we so excited this year? Because we have worked out an arrangement with a top provider of seafood, the fish we are acquiring this year is of the highest quality. Which means better, flakier fish. And to top it off, after extensive testing, we have formulated an even better and tastier seasoning that the fish will be coated in for cooking.
As if that wasn't enough ... we are now offering Shrimp dinners this year (while supplies last). Shrimp dinners will be for inside ordering only, you may take the shrimp meal to go but unfortunately we cannot offer shrimp dinners in the drive thru pickup lanes. And here is the best part: NO INCREASE IN PRICES FROM LAST YEAR.
So for the Best Lenten Fish Meals in town (and the entire tri-county area for that matter) come to the Delphos Knights of Columbus hall on Friday's during Lent and experience a fish meal that you will be coming back for again and again.
$5 for 1 or $10 for 3

If people wish to be anonymous with their questions that they can email them to Jacob ahead of time at jlivecchi@delphosstjohns.org and he will ask the question for them.

We would like to wish each of you a blessed, healthy and very happy birthday.
If you have a birthday this month and are not listed here, then most likely we do not have your current info in our records. Please feel free to send me your updated contact info and birthday info. Be assured that your info will never be shared outside of your Knights of Columbus organization.
