What to Expect in Fourth Grade

My aim is to support every child in uncovering their personal genius while developing their unique role as a socially responsible global citizen. To achieve this, I believe that respect, empathy, and curiosity must be the foundation for all student learning. The classroom should reflect a culture that values rich core content, equitable and relevant learning opportunities, personal voice, collaboration, and agency; it should be a place where individual strengths and perspectives are celebrated, and exploration and innovation are passionately pursued. This co-constructed environment should feel safe, supportive, and conducive to risk-taking. My goal is to facilitate meaningful and rigorous academic experiences that will spark wonder, foster joy, and prepare each child for the great task of advancing the world before them. 

Life Outside of the Stallion's Stable

Outside of working with Stallions, I love traveling, camping, and enjoying time with family and friends. We are huge baseball fans who love cheering on the Padres and catching a game at Petco Park whenever possible. I'm a movement enthusiast and lover of good eats. On weekends, I love slow mornings sipping coffee near the coast or perusing our local farmers' markets.
