Welcome to 1st & 2nd Grade!
Originally from Paradise in Northern California, I’ve called San Diego home for the past 20 years. This will be my 22nd year teaching 1st grade and my second year teaching a 1st/2nd grade combo!
Beyond the classroom, I am a mom of one 15 year old son who formely attended Torrey Hills pre-K through 6th. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social-Emotional Learning, which guides my passion for creating a supportive, caring, and growth-minded environment for all my students. I also co-host the Building Bridges podcast alongside our principal, Jacob Ruth.
I’m looking forward to another exciting, inspiring, and rewarding school year with you and your children!
