Educational Background and Professional Experience:
Mrs. Wilkins completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Child Development from California State University, Chico and her Master of Arts in K-12 School Counseling from the University of San Diego.
Upon graduating, Mrs. Wilkins began her career in El Cajon, California prior to relocating to Portland, Oregon and the sunshine brought her back to San Diego in June 2021. She has been supporting the students of CDM since the 2021-2022 school year and is excited for another meaningful year!

What to Expect in your School Counseling Program
I love being a School Counselor because I get the opportunity to work with students, staff and the community to support children as they learn, grow and become contributing members to our society! I can support students through a variety of ways related to their academics, career exploration and social/emotional needs through check-ins, individual and small groups as well as whole class guidance lessons and grade-level assemblies. I look forward to to partnering with the CDM community to support our students and am excited for a great year!

When Mrs. Wilkins is not at school, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends in the sunshine, hiking, exploring San Diego and trying new restaurants.
