My name is Ms. Oddi! I am so excited to be teaching 6th grade this year at Torrey Hills!
I graduated from California State University, Long Beach earning my bachelors in Elementary Education with an emphasis in history/social science. I pursued my multiple subject teaching credential and my CLAD authorization from California State University, San Marcos, where I had the opportunity to learn and grow in my teaching pedagogy.
I have experience in 3rd and 5th grade and I am eager to learn and grow as a part of the 6th grade team.
Education Philosophy
I believe every student can succeed at exceptionally high levels by harnessing their power of curiosity and fostering a love for learning!

Life Outside of the Hawk's Nest
I grew up in Temecula, CA about a forty-five minute drive north from Del Mar. I am a new neighbor to the San Diego community as of this year! I come from a background of educators. My parents are retired educators, and my two older sisters are teachers as well. I enjoy visiting my family on the weekends and spending time with my precious niece, Harper (4) and nephew, Andrew (1).
I love hiking, running, staying active daily, and cooking healthy home cooked meals and treats. I am always looking for new things to foster the love of learning in my own life! I grew up traveling to watch baseball games. Go Dodgers!
My friends would say I am an enthusiastic, energetic, passionate, fun and loving person to be around. I surround myself with people who have positive qualities.
