This is going to be a fantastic year in sixth grade! We are going to make this amazing school year into something unforgettable. I'm looking forward to meeting all of my students and getting to know them as learners and individuals. I'm thrilled to be teaching sixth grade for another year here at Del Mar Heights! I have been teaching in this amazing school district for the past seven years and it keeps getting better. Prior to sixth grade, I taught second grade at Carmel Del Mar School, and before that, fifth grade up in Seattle, Washington. This year we are going to work as a team to achieve our goals and grow as learners as we prepare for middle school and beyond. Let the adventure begin!

Life Outside of the Ocean

I grew up here in San Diego and absolutely love this city! I moved away for two years to Seattle and enjoyed discovering a new city, but my heart is truly here in SD. My family enjoys pool days, taking walks, adventuring to parks such as the Zoo, Safari Park, and Sea World, reading books, game nights, spending time with friends, and watching movies. I'm also obsessed with organization and home decor so you'll often find me reorganizing and thinking of new ways to be efficient and spruce up our home!
